Medford, Oregon

Located in Jackson County of Southern Oregon, just 27 miles north of the California border, Medford is the Rogue Valley’s largest city with a population of 87,903 according to census data from 2024. The Rogue Valley International Airport is conveniently located 3 miles north of downtown Medford off of Interstate Highway 5 and provides commercial air service by Horizon/Alaska Airlines, , American, United, Delta, Avelo, and Allegiant with approximately 56 flights daily to and from San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Denver, and Salt Lake City.

A small town with big city amenities, Medford is known for it’s easy access to the Rogue River and abundant outdoor recreation activities. Home to award-winning wineries such as RoxyAnn and EdenVale.  Medford is conveniently located on the I-5 corridor between Ashland and Grants Pass and offers close proximity to cultural attractions such as the Craterian Theatre, Harry & David, the Britt Festival, the Jackson County Expo, the Rogue Valley Mall, and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.

Public transportation is provided six days a week by the Rogue Valley Transportation District. Rogue Community College is located in downtown Medford, and Southern Oregon University is just 15 miles south in Ashland.
